This Privacy Policy explains how Freight Masters (“Freight Masters”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit freightmasters.ai (the “Website”) or contact us. By using the Website or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
If you have any questions about this Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at privacy@freightmasters.ai.
1. Who we are
Freight Masters provides AI-powered operational infrastructure for logistics companies across the UAE and GCC. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. For privacy matters, we can be reached at privacy@freightmasters.ai.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
When you request a free operations audit through the Website, you provide us with your email address. If you contact us by email, WhatsApp, or any other channel, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message — for example your name, company, phone number, and the contents of your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating-system information, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security, diagnostics, and to keep the Website running reliably.
Information stored in your browser
We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage so the Website remembers how you like it to look. This is a functional setting that stays on your device; it is not used to track or identify you.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors. We do not knowingly collect special categories of sensitive personal data through the Website.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your audit request or enquiry and communicate with you;
- provide, operate, and improve our services and the Website;
- send you information you have asked for, or that is relevant to a request you made;
- maintain the security and integrity of the Website and prevent abuse; and
- comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so, including: your consent (for example, when you submit the audit form or message us); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, operating and securing the Website, and growing our business in a proportionate way; and compliance with our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights” below).
5. Cookies and local storage
The Website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The only client-side storage we use is the theme preference described in Section 2, which is strictly functional. If we introduce additional cookies in future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. Service providers and third parties
We share personal information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the Website and respond to you, and only to the extent necessary. These currently include:
- Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure, which processes the automatically-collected technical information described above;
- Resend — email delivery, used to send your audit request to our team;
- WhatsApp / Meta — if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, your message is handled in accordance with WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
7. International data transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside the UAE, which means your information may be processed in other countries. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected to a standard consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy — for example, to handle your enquiry and maintain a record of our correspondence — and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
9. How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information at all times.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; to request correction or deletion of it; to object to or restrict its processing; to request a copy in a portable format; and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@freightmasters.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
11. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to third-party sites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
14. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute relating to it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE.
15. Contact us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Policy or your personal information, please contact us at privacy@freightmasters.ai.
